Suggestions on improving this build for R/A
Ranger/Assassin
Expertise:12+1+3 Dagger Mastery:12 Shadow Arts: 2 Jagged Strike Wild Strike Repeating Strike Death Blossom Death's Charge Return Lightning Reflexes Ressurection Signet Any opinions on this build? |

O yeah i have one,
it's called an ELITE, it's a skill with a golden frame around it.  Also why are you /A tell me the benefits of going /A, e-management is not it as sins can do that twice as good, you'll have max 12 dagger mastery while sins can get much higher, and you wont have constant IAS, you can't use the Crit Strikes skills. This build= FAIL |

Ignore Pericles, he woke up with a case of profound rudeness.
An elite would help. Is it for PvE or PvP? As much as people like the above laugh at R/A, I've used it in PvE many times when the armour ignoring damage of Moebius/Death Blossom was what I needed. Sure, I might have been better off switching to an A/*, but that's impossible for a PvE character. |

Check the random arena thread. Ive posted a good R/A dagger build their.
And that build is horrible BTW. Your going by the "Get in, spike, Get out" strategy which is all well and good except for the fact that primary assassins do things that way far better. R/A's should be a DPS'er, and use moebius strike. For what your trying to do, you should Use [skill]Aura of displacement[/skill] as your elite, change to primary sin, and add golden fang or twisting fangs to your bar. |

Hmm, I see what you all are saying, this build isn't great for someone who is trying to get the most out of their damage. I see that one of the better choices would be to just make a primary Assassin and bathe in all that Critical Strikes. I actually thought the Expertise was nice, considering that my attacks were around 2 energy, combined with my 30 energy, I barely ran out. I read Ketsu's build. Looks real nice. Oh, one of the other reasons I wanted to do R/A was that I think Rangers look much better >_<
